Black and white postcard. The front shows William McKinley accepting the nomination for his second term as President on July 12, 1900. The image shows President McKinley standing on a platform, flanked by bunting, with many listeners. The caption on the back reads as follows: "PRESIDENT MCKINLEY ACCEPTING THE NOMINATION FOR THE SECOND TERM, JULY 12, 1900 40th Annual Exhibition of McKinley Stamp Club of Canton - April 3-4, 1971 Photo from original plate in McKinleyana Collection of Mr. & Mrs. George R. Bechtel, Jr. of Canton, Ohio." The postmark is located in the message area and reads as follows: "McKinley Stamp Club Ex. Sta. Canton, OH Apr 4, 1971".
