Postcard with a painting of President McKinley delivering a speech at the Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo, NY, September 5th, 1901. Published by Frank D. Kelley Associates, 210 17th St., N.E., Canton, Ohio. The back reads: "The following day he was felled by an assassin's bullet at a reception in his honor at the Temple of Music on the Exposition grounds. He died Sept. 14 at the home of his Buffalo host, John G. Milburn. Mr. McKinley was the third President to be assassinated. He served with gallantry in the Civil War rising through the ranks to Second Lieutenant. The President and his family are entombed in Canton, Ohio."
