Scope and Content

The item is a postcard featuring a picture of William McKinley at 28 years old and one of Ida McKinley at 22 years old. There is also a picture of the First Presbyterian Church with the caption, "The First Presbyterian Church of Canton, Ohio, Corner Tuscarawas and Plum St., now McKinley Ave., with uncompleted tower as it appeared at the time of marriage of Wm. McKinley, Jr., and Ida Dewalt Saxton, January 25th 1871." Copyright 1907 by Harry E. Fife Canton, Ohio. On the back, it says, "Harry E. Fife has moved into his new offices, 108 E. Eighth St., McKinley Hotel Bldg., Ground Floor, Both Phones 253, You are invited to inspect the safe deposit boxes and silver chests in the specially constructed fire proof vault, bank stocks, bonds, mortgages, real estate, and loans."
