Scope and Content

This item is a black and white postcard with an image of President McKinley's tomb in Canton, Ohio. There are guards stationed in front of the door to the tomb. The tomb is decorated in flowers. There is a caption on the photo in the bottom right corner, "West Lawn Vault. McKinley's Resting Place." Postcard has margins. This tomb was the original tomb of President McKinley before his body was moved to the Canton memorial after construction. On the back, postcard has some blue paper residue from previously being stuck to something else.
