Color reproduction of a postcard featuring an image of the United States Post Office in Niles, Ohio. This post office is located on W. Park Avenue, and was constructed by the Works Progress Administration in the 1930s. The image is framed in off-white, with the text "U. S. Post Office, Niles, Ohio" printed on the top right corner. The text "4A54-N" is printed at the lower right corner.
The back of the card is unused, and features black printing on an off-white background. There is no caption on the top left; however The words "Youngstown News Agency, Youngstown, Ohio" are along the left side, written vertically. The middle of the card contains the words "Genuine Curteich-Chicago 'C.T. American Art' Post Card (Reg. U.S. Pat. Off.)" vertically printed. The upper right corner of the card has a 0.75 inch x 0.75 inch square with the words "Place Stamp Here" printed within it. The words "Post Card" are printed just to the left and below the square.Collection
