Scope and Content

This item is a colored postcard with an image of President McKinley's vault in Canton, Ohio. There is a group of guards stationed in front of the vault. This vault was the original vault of President McKinley before his body was moved to the Canton memorial after construction. On the back, postcard has a one cent stamp of Benjamin Franklin. It has half of a postmark. The postcard is addressed to, "Miss Vernine Reagan 270 Rosedale Place Akron, O. from Mama" It asks, "Well Vernie how do like keeping house." Published for Kawin & Co., Chicago for S.H. Knox & Co., Canton, O.
