Scope and Content

Wm. McKinley Memorial Hospital League Stamp on Envelope. The postmark reads "CANAL DOVER, OHIO, AUG [1?], 5-PM, 1913," and is addressed to Charles S. Speakes Esq: Lisbon, Ohio, Columbiana Co." Postage is a two cent stamp of George Washington with a cancellation flag, its wavy lines running through it. The return address is "Dr. Edwin W. Yost, Dentist, Canal Dover, Ohio," located in the upper left hand corner. Below is a red, white, and blue stamp with a portrait of the President with the words "LEAD KINDLY LIGHT" below, and surrounded by "Wm McKinley Memorial Hospital League." The back contains fades wavy cancellation lines.
