William McKinley, President, 100th Birth Anniversary Envelope Cover, Jan. 29, 1943.
There are two postmarks. One reads, "McKINLEY PARK, ALASKA. JAN 29 1943, 9 AM," and the other reads, "U. S. Censorship, Examined by 9820."
A seven cent black and white "McKINLEY, UNITED STATES POSTAGE" stamp is located in the upper right hand corner. Black cancellation lines run through the stamp. A red and white "Air Mail" arrow is affixed below the postmarks. The envelope is addressed to "Mr. Williard Thomas, 1414 - 12th Street N.W., Canton, Ohio." and is type written.
