Photos of Wilson's funeral home in downtown Harrodsburg. Established in 1910 by Nathan Wilson Sr., it was renamed as Wilson & Son when Nathan Wilson Jr. joined his father in the 1920s. Nathan Wilson Jr. operated the business until his death in 1971, after which it was purchased by Buster Sims and operated under Jimmy Hodge as Hodge Funeral Home.
In 1974, Sims changed the name to Parks Funeral Home, in honor of brothers Charles and William Parks, two associates of the funeral home who first began working there as teenagers in the 1940s.Photograph Details
