Chukwudubem Ukaigwe (b. 1995, Lagos, Nigeria) is an artist, curator, and writer whose work explores how people make sense of the world through images, stories, memory, and everyday experiences. Working across painting, installation, and video, he draws inspiration from music, literature, history, and ideas about possible futures.
Ukaigwe's practice examines how personal and collective histories are shaped, remembered, and reimagined. His works often bring together familiar moments, cultural references, and layered narratives to encourage new ways of seeing and understanding the world around us. Rather than presenting fixed answers, he creates spaces for reflection, curiosity, and dialogue.
