This silver cased spring lancet by Samuel Jackson is similar to the ones carried by many physicians to bleed patients on.home visits. After cocking the blade and placing it over a vein the physician would then touch the top lever and the blade would snap down to sever the vein.
This particular instrument is inscribed on the reverse side "H. Brooke, MD from Dr T. C. Worthington."Condition
