Included are two sterioscopic viewers along with the complete set of The Stereoscopic Skin Clinic (1910) by New York dermatologist Dr. S. I. Rainforth. Here are 132 multi-colored lithographic images of all the known skin diseases prior to the introduction of antibiotic therapy.
Stereoscopic views were very helpful in teaching anatomy but more importantly in demonstrating the importance of antibiotics and vaccines with images of untreated individuals. In fact I went out and got my shingles vaccine after coming across the Herpes Zoster image.Condition
