Tooth keys

Name/Title

Tooth keys

Description

At the top left is a common door key. Understandably the term “tooth key” came from that design. Surrounding that key are dental tooth keys with handles of different materials. The use of that instrument was illustrated in “Traité complet d’anatomie de l’homme" 2nd ed. (1866–1871) by J.M. Bourgery, Claude Bernard, and N.H. Jacob.
