Cincinnati physician Dr. Andre Cueto created this device in 1936 as a way to encourage hair growth by increasing circulation with alternating suction and pressure through a cap connected to a motorized vacuum and pressure pump.
It was used by notables Fred Astaire and George Gershwin. Unfortunately for the latter he attributed the resultant headaches to his Xervac treatments neglecting a brain tumor that eventually took his life.Create Date
