English:
Since İsteklayn, a subject of the German State, is the representative, regarding the two-chamber mill named in the place called Kemer, which was converted into a factory for five years, and as the execution of this transformation is nearing its end, and it is to be reverted to its original state, he wrote a letter regarding this matter. According to the response, he will write back to his client.
A letter sent by the former interpreter of the Sivas Province, Emmanuel Proeslan, to Garabed Şahinyan.

Garabed and Mihran Shahinian (see Postcard #9), both survivors of the Armenian Genocide, were detained and imprisoned during the atrocities. After their release, they settled in Constantinople, where each established a photography studio. Garabed founded and operated the Cumhuriyet photography studio, while Mihran established Galatasaray Studio, which later came under the directorship of his daughter, Mayram.Note Type
