The inscription reads: ՅՕՀԱՆՆԵՍ ՓՈՇԻՃԵԱՆ 1910. ՓՏՐՎԱՐ 15 (English: Ohannes Poshijian, February 15, 1910). The surname Poshijian appears in several issues of the Jamanak newspaper from the 1950s, as well as in a book about the Armenians of Tokat published in Cairo during the same decade by Arshag Alboyajian (see weblinks). Given the rarity of the name, it is highly likely that this bowl originates from Tokat (Evdokia), where the surname appears to be uniquely rooted.Created By
