“Illigos” by Dionysios A. Kokkinos was first serialized in the newspaper Elliniki in 1927. In 1932, the magazine Evdomas included the work, retitled Illigo, in a special edition for its readers. The first full edition of the book was published that same year with the Armenian version published simultaneously but in its full form in 1933. From November 8, 1954, to February 4, 1955, the National Foundation Radiofonias broadcast the novel in its entirety on the program “Selected Pages of Our Literature,” with Mrs. Miranda serving as the announcer. The second edition of Illigos was released in November 1956 by Deltos Editions, with a cover designed by painter Stelios Almaliotis.Category
