Estate of Garabet Şahinyan: A letter sent by Şefik Bey to Süleyman Bey regarding the transfer of power of attorney based on the sample he had sent, instructing that the proceeds from the sale of his share in the factory be forwarded to him. Additionally, a letter sent to Mescidzade Süleyman Efendi to convey his regards to Şahinyan Avedis and Karabet Efendi. Dated: August 2, 1328 / August 15, 1912. Documents: 2 pieces.

Garabed and Mihran Shahinian (see Postcard #9), both survivors of the Armenian Genocide, were detained and imprisoned during the atrocities. After their release, they settled in Constantinople, where each established a photography studio. Garabed founded and operated the Cumhuriyet photography studio, while Mihran established Galatasaray Studio, which later came under the directorship of his daughter, Mayram.
