My dearest sister,
I hope you're doing well as always, and still growing. I'm sending you this postcard today to tell you that the table I'm writing on at the moment doesn’t look much like the one in the picture.
Well, in life, you mustn’t worry—so says Dédé’s song (see Weblink), and it’s right.
I’m handing my pen over to my dear cousin so she can write to you with her charming words and her wonderful gift for them.

Ma sœur chérie, j'espère que toujours tu vas bien, toujours en grossissant. Je t'envoie aujourd'hui cette carte postale pour te dire que la table sur laquelle j'écris en ce moment ne ressemble pas beaucoup à celle-ci. Enfin, dans la vie faut pas s'en faire, dit la chanson de Dédé, et elle a raison. Je donne ma plume à ma chère cousine pour qu'elle t'écrive de ses charmants mots dont elle a l'aptitude merveilleuse.
