Two years after her husband's death (1888), this second edition of Khente was likely a great comfort to the widowed Anna Raffi and her two sons, Aram and Arshak Raffi. The seal on the title page of this edition is from the personal library of Raffi’s wife, Anna, and reads: "Anna Raffi, widow of the author Raffi." After her husband’s death, she had this seal made and used it to mark the books in her personal library, including this beloved copy of Khente. There are two copies in the collection with the other one being much larger.Category
