Records related to both Vitchen Otanian and his son, Andon Otanian, have been found. According to Andon's death certificate, he was born on February 21, 1921, and passed away on March 2, 1999, in Senas, Bouches-du-Rhône, France. Vitchen Otanian also appears in the Fichier central de la Sûreté nationale—often referred to as the "fonds de Moscou" (Moscow Fund)—a collection of French police files that were secretly taken by the Soviet Union during World War II and later returned to France.
