Back of the photograph reads: Belongs to Ms. Halime Meliha. Dated Friday, August 28, year 1331 (August 28, 1915). One of the members of the Aleppo–Marash Abandoned Properties Commission, Former treasurer (defterdar) of Ankara, Ayaşlızade İsmail Hakkı. Later, on April 29, 1920, the newspaper Amal-i Milliye was launched, with Hacı Nuri Bey as the proprietor and Ayaşlızade İsmail Hakkı Bey as the responsible editor. Photographer is Krikor Misirliyan who was the first Armenian photographer in Aleppo.
