Note

Dikran Harpoutlian remained in France for the rest of his life, passing away in 1961 at the age of 83. While his actual birth year was 1878, his emigration papers list two different dates, including 1873. He was married to Shahandoukht (née Sinanian), who was born in 1891 and lived until 1982. Their son, Garabed (1913–1987), appears to have gone by the name Guy, as inscribed on the family tombstone.
