Records indicate that Hripsime (née Tersakian) and her two sons, Haik and Krikor, were part of a family with roots in Bursa, Turkey. Hripsime’s husband, Mgrditch, was born on October 20, 1898, in Brousse (Bursa), Turkey, and passed away on April 27, 1942, in Lyon, France, at the age of 43. It seems Mgrditch migrated to France before Hripsime. While both parents originated from Bursa, their children, Haik and Krikor, were born in Constantinople. According to the family tree, Hripsime was born in 1899, while Haik and Krikor were born on October 23, 1921, and April 3, 1924, respectively. The family lived in and around Lyon, with Haig Sahakian passing away in Décines-Charpieu on December 7, 2003, at the age of 82. Krikor passed away on May 10, 2015, near Lyon at the age of 91. The family also had four other children while living in France.
