My dear parents,
I talked so much in my 4-page letter that there wasn’t even room left to wish you a Happy New Year! Anyway, I’ve written cards to my friends and relatives, and for anyone I may have forgotten, please take care of that on my behalf.
I received the 500 francs, but there isn’t much of it left. I spent Christmas very nicely at Lasalle. You’ll hear all the details next time.
