Description

Harutiun S. Nashalian was born on April 15, 1878, in Marash. He first studied at the local St. Stephen’s Primary School, then at the Central School, the Academy’s Upper School, and later at St. Paul’s College in Tarsus, graduating in 1902. After the Armenian Genocide, he then became a teacher in Beirut. In 1943, Harutiun S. Nashalian retired from teaching and devoted himself to literature. His preferred genre was satire and humor. He published this book, the Armenian Foreign Moral Amusements, a collection of more than 320 pages of popular anecdotes.
