A chalice cover, presumably from Evereg (modern-day Develi), bears an inscription that reads: "In Memory of Mrs. Mari Semizian, 10 April 1907." The four corners feature angels, while the center displays an Agnus Dei (Lamb of God) carrying a flag. This traditional symbol represents Jesus Christ, referred to as "the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world" (John 1:29). It can be assumed that Mari Semizian had recently passed away, and this chalice cover was donated to the church in her memory. An expert is convinced that the chalice cover originates from Evereg. Notably, individuals with the Semizian surname have been documented in Evereg, including Setrak Semizian, who was a student at the Fenesse Armenian School and later became the principal of the Mesrobian School in 1912, seemingly at a young age.
