Copper bowl produced by Sarkis Çemberciyan used to served soup. It is called Çorba tası or Ayaklı (legged) Tası in Turkish. Sarkis Çemberciyan was born on 1883 in Aintab. He eventually settled in Aleppo where he had a workshop in the coppersmiths market of the city. He had a son named Hovhannes Chemberjian who also was a coppersmith.Category
