This inkwell bears the mark ԱՏՈՒՐ, identifying it as the work of Adour Arslanian, a master coppersmith who originally worked out of Aintab but later established himself in Aleppo, where he remained until his death. Inscription on the inkwell: ՄՀՐ ԿՈՀՕՍ ԴՍ???ՄԵԱՆ Arabic numerals also inscribed 1336 (1920).Category
