I confirm the two short lines I wrote earlier in my father’s letter. I hope you have received them by now. I have not received any reply. As for my father’s journey, yesterday morning at 9 o’clock he departed for “Vienne” with my uncle. Here we are all well and we miss you. At present, together with Haroutyun, we are keeping busy with various small tasks, and in the future we may undertake larger ones as well. Four days ago I wrote a letter to our family [or: our people], and I have received no response. Tell [him/her/them] to write on such-and-such a day [unclear in the original]. In closing, my kisses to little Zabel and to you.

Կը հաստատեմ ասկէ առաջւան գրած երկտողներս հօրս նամակին մէջ։ Կը յուսամ թէ մինչեւ ցայտ ստացած էք։ Ես ոչ մէկ պատասխան առած եմ։ Գալով հօրս ճամբորդութեան մասին երէկ առաւօտ ժամը 9-ին vienne? մեկնեցաւ հօրեբօրս հետ։ Հոս ամենքս ալ հանգիստ ենք եւ ձեր կարօտը կը զգանք։ Հիմակուհիմա Յարրութիւնին հետ զանազան պզտիկ գործերով կը զբաղինք եւ յառաջիկային ալ կարելի աւելի մեծ գործեր ընենք։ Չորս օր առաջ մերիններուն? նամակ մը գրեցի եւ ոչ մէկ պատասխան առի։ Ըսէք որ քոնէ ??? ??? օրը գրէ։ Վերջացնելով, համբոյրներս Զապէլին մինինիկին եւ քեզի։
