A studio photograph of an Armenian Legion soldier serving within the French Occupation Forces in the Adana and Marash region. Photograph caption reads: “Arshavir Yeramian, from Çemişgezek (Chemishgezek)” Backside of the photograph reads: "I gift this photograph to my ally Mr Arshavir Yeramian as a souvenir / memorabilia of our life in Adana. 5/3/19" Some words are not legible . It seems person in photo is not Arshavir as the accompanied tag claims. It also should be noted that Arshavir Yeramian, according to American records, was not born Çemişgezek but in Constantinople. Arshavir Yeramian eventually moved to Worscester, MA, USA and died in 1980.Category
