A 1316 (1898-9) property deed from Mush in Hasig (today's Guven, Korkut) in a place called “dereli”. belonging to farmers Boghos, Manuk, and Garabed. Deed reads: Due to the embezzlement from the bank administration committed by Serko and Manuk, sons of Hagop, and Manho, son of Karabet — all from the Armenian community and belonging to the tenant-farmer class in the Aliye district of the Tebai State — based on the enforcement office’s memorandum dated 5 September 1316 (Ottoman Rumi calendar) and numbered 62, they have been absolutely and irrevocably subjected to auction (public sale of assets) in accordance with the order.Category
