The wood model on display here is believed to be a Ford Engineering Sample. The model bears all the signs of an early production M151, and the hood numbers 2B 4764 are the numbers given to the XM151E1 test vehicle in 1957.
Was brought in by a gentleman who found the closed crate in a garage sale, the screws were stripped and he bought it for $10 not knowing what was inside.
Once he opened it and found what it was, he shopped it around to see what he could get for it.
We assume this is a one of a kind item, no one in the M151 community has seen one before.Cataloged By
