M1955 Flak Vest SpecificationMIL-A-17367 Size medium The Marine Corps' M1955 flak jacket replaced their M1952 body armor that was developed during the Korean War. The vest had a zip front closure, an integral cartridge belt holder for attaching equipment and a rifle guard over the right shoulder.
