This example made by the Selby Shoe Company and Western Electric, this flying helmet was worn by members of the Army Air Forces in various types of aircraft. The leather shell itself was produced by the Selby shoe company and fitted with ANB-H-1 receiving ear pieces produced by western electric in order to allow a crewman or pilot to hear radio transmissions directly by plugging into the radio system aboard. This is a size medium and has two forms of adjustment on the back and chin. This also has the ability to clip on oxygen masks and other equipment that the user may need.Cataloged By
