Service Uniform, Olive Colored, Four Pockets with four patches. 3 merit symbols, and two U.S. insignia on shoulders. The item was worn and owned by PFC Earl M. Starr. U.S.A.F. 1943-46.
Jacket issued to PFC. Earl Starr in 1943. It has four pockets, two insignia of the US military forces the US Monogram and the US Army Air Forces monogram as well.It has two patches for a "private', and the third patch on the left arm is the insignia for the Third Airforce. There is also a patch above the right breast of a running duck, which symbolizes as honorable discharge from the US Armed Forces. There are three medals above the left breast. the one on the right is the Good Conduct Medal. The one in the middle is the American Campaign, and the one on the left is the World War Two Victory medal insignia. On the inside right breast pocket is the marker, of "8875" and on the inside left is "b5875" written in pen, rather than a stamp. The size of the jacket is a 36 large. It looks to be in very good condition.Cataloged By
