Description

Photo believed to have been taken at the Detroit Arsenal Research & Development lab. 24"x19" mounted photo, believed to be taken at the Detroit Arsenal R&D facility. Shows two men in lab coats testing a model of a tracked chassis in sand or snow, looks similar to the tracks used on the M116 Husky. Assume this was some sort of Track floatation or ground pressure test. Showed image to TACOM historian, she was unable to verify the story, there is nothing in the background that gives away a location, one man has a badge on, but the resolution is not good enough to read. Cardboard backer is from a Detroit graphics supply house.
