A model made for a U.S. Patent application that was issued in 1962 to Leonardo resident Lewis H. Blood. Blood was for many years a teacher and coach at Middletown Township High School. In the summers and after retiring from teaching, Blood worked at the J. Howard Smith Fish Factory in Belford, which led to the development of this invention that was intended to extract liquid from objects.
