Blossom Cove Property Survey

Name/Title

Blossom Cove Property Survey

Scope and Content

1944 survey for the recently departed Everett L. Brown's "Blossom Cove" estate, built circa 1914. Designed by Ernest Arend, the estate later lent its name to the street where it is located (formerly Pringle Avenue). A portion of the road was vacated in 1949, and this survey may have been submitted as part of that application. The property was later the subject of an important court case involving property taxes (1956), and the home of New Jersey Governor Philip Murphy.
