Description

Dougles PVRR Artifact

Use

Carla found an "Isaac Mellon Douglass" living as a farmer near where this object was found. It could be something presented to him because the P.V.R.R. needed to pass through his farm. They didn't spell his name correctly on the medal. It says "IAAC. M. Dougles" Maybe he didn't like that it was misspelled and so he threw in the privvy hole. The 1920 census has him living on his farm near 401 and 113 but it's described as " Road North-South" and " Road East-West."
