Lidded porcelain/ceramic trinket box made in Japan for Tiffany & Co. at the Mall at Short Hills. The underside of the box is marked in gold: "Designed exclusively; for; The Mall at Short Hills; by; Tiffany & Co." The underside of the lid is marked in gold: "Bringing the world of retail together under one roof; The Mall at Short Hills; August 1995." The box is embellished with a map of continents and bodies of water on the planet, surrounded by a bands of beige, blue, and brown squares on the edges. The box was donated with what appears to be the original Tiffany & Co. blue box. The outer blue box has bumped and worn corners, edgewear, and very light overall dust and soiling. The trinket box commemorates the addition of Tiffany & Co. to the mall during the 1995 mall expansion. The box is in like-new condition, with no apparent flaws.Acquisition
