9 3/4" x 1/2" metal (multi-purpose?) letter opener/tool. On the handle end is a sketch of a biplane, "Hartshorn" and "Stream line wires." he handle end is split/forked and has a 3/8" diameter hole in the two (split) sides. On the blade of the letter opener is "Hartshorn" in script, "Shade Rollers," "Steel Wire," "Shade Cloth," and "Streamline Tie Rods." The opposite side of the blade is not engraved.
There are a couple of ca. 1/4" rust spots on the blade, and light overall scratches on the tool.Collection
