Description

The original English Cotswold type dates from around 1570-1799. It was a vernacular style based on traditions passed down from generation to generation. Local craftsmen used materials at hand in the simplest ways. The tradition passed to the United States, and several examples, such as this, can be found in Short Hills Park.
