Description

Five identical color photos of the Short Hills train station building before it became the historical society museum. The original message board (that workers threw out during renovation) can be seen on the wall of the building. Two phone booths flanked the trackside door and bright blue trash containers lined the area between the building and the tracks. As there were no screens on the windows then, the flower boxes were placed on the stone sills. Photos were in a lot of photos donated by Patty Meola of the Independent Press in New Providence. All photos are undamaged .
