Description

This is the second school at the location on White Oak Ridge Road after it was used by the "inmates" of the poor farm. It was moved down Poor Farm Lane (which is next to Fire House #2) when the 3rd school was constructed. Mrs. Nellie D. Ross taught in this school. The land purchased for the Poor Farm is today Gero Park.
