Single-sheet 1914 letter from Thomas J. Caparn, 83 Chestnut Street, Wyoming NJ to Mr. David P. Kerr, Lancaster County Nurseries, Lancaster PA. Letter is actually an invoice printed "Short Hills, N.J." and dated "April 25, 1914" has one horizontal fold and two vertical folds. It is also printed "To ARTHUR T. CAPARN. Dr, Nurseryman and Landscape Gardener." Author wrote: "Dear Sir, Kindly send me trade list of your Fruit Trees as offered in Exchange. Yours truly, Thomas J. Caparn, Landscape Gardener, 83 Chestnut St, Wyoming New Jersey" Original envelope is also in the donation. It is 6" w x 3.5" high, is postally used and postmarked Apr 27, 1914. It is addressed as above and was opened at the top. It has light smudges on the front, particularly around the edges of the envelope.Acquisition
