Essex County Resource Book: A Tercentennial Historical Tour Guide. Publication surveying historical buildings and sites in Essex County developed through a grant from the Division of Employment Training, Summer Youth Employment Training, 1982. 73 pp. Illustrated with B&W photographs and drawings. The publication was produced on the occasion of the 300th Anniversary of Essex County and features descriptive listings of 124 sites, many of which are illustrated. There is also a historical time line, maps and Tours of Newark. The Millburn section features 5 sites: The Hessian House (115 Millburn Avenue), The Music Hall (162 Hobart Avenue), The Cora Hartshorn Arboretum and Stone House, Stonehaven (303 Hobart Avenue) and The Paper Mill Playhouse.
