Hartshorn Shade Cloths advertising blotter from Andrew Dutton Co of Boston MA. Unused ink blotter with dark blue back. Printed on the front is "Hartshorn Shade Cloths; est. 1860," "Joanna cloth," "Oswego tinted cambric," "Chouaguen hand made opaque," "Hollands dead & flat finish," "Pequod water color," "Pontiac machine oil," and "Andrew Dutton Company; 60 Canal Street; Boston, Mass." No evidence of soiling or wear. Guesstimating age of ca. 1920s.
