Divided-back postcard, postmarked Sept 6, 1947, and sent from Barcelona by Armando Soto to Mr. Matty Sason, 39 Short Hills Rd, Millburn NJ USA. The 1948 directory shows Matthew and Sylvia SASSON at 37 Old Short Hills Rd.
Mathew and Sylvia Sasson's son Kenneth returned home in March 1947 after serving 2 years in the Merchant Marines.
Stamp wraps around from back of postcard to border around image of Barcelona on front. Dot-sized ink spots on top left area of front of postcard. Yellowing on all edges of postcard; most noticeable on back.
