Postally unused, real-photo postcard of the First Baptist Church (aka "the green church") at 132 Spring Street, at the corner of Millburn Avenue. The postcard is yellowed, particularly around the edges; corners are bumped; edges are worn. in pencil on bottom left of the back of the postcard is: 0101 580. The Millburn Baptist Church was organized by a group of nine men and women on October 18, 1858. Mrs. Isabelle Lee donated a plot of land at the corner of Millburn Avenue and Spring Street to construct a church. The cornerstone was laid on August 10, 1859.
